The email is not the decision

Travel sale emails are useful prompts, but they are not the trip plan. Before clicking through, write down the date range, airport, luggage needs, transfer risk and cancellation tolerance.

Check the linked extras

A flight or hotel headline can sit beside separate costs for airport parking, car hire, bags, resort fees, transfers or early check-in. Treat each extra as its own booking decision.

Check who handles changes

If you book through an app, agent or comparison route, keep the booking reference and support route clear. The cheapest-looking route is weaker if you cannot quickly work out who helps when dates move.

Use UK Shortlists next

Open the Trip.com sale checklist or the travel-mobility finder before booking. The goal is to check fit and terms before the offer page sets the pace.

Reader request

Need a more specific version?

Ask for a related checklist, narrower buying route, or correction. Requests are queued privately before any public page is created.

Context: Travel-sale email in your inbox? Check the extras before clicking through

Requests do not automatically change rankings, product selections, merchant links, or recommendations. They help identify useful corrections, refreshes, and missing buyer questions.
