Corrections & updates log
This page explains what UK Shortlists treats as a material correction or update. It is intended to support visible accountability as the site matures.
What gets logged
- Material changes to a recommendation or ranking.
- Corrections to factual product details, specifications, policies, or merchant destinations.
- Changes to evidence basis, review-basis wording, or testing claims.
- Corrections to affiliate disclosure, editorial accountability, or trust-policy wording.
- Major methodology or category-protocol changes.
What usually does not get logged
- Minor copy edits that do not change buyer guidance.
- Formatting, spacing, or accessibility improvements that do not alter claims.
- Internal workflow and report changes that do not affect public recommendations.
- Routine refreshes where the recommendation and evidence basis remain unchanged.
Current log status
UK Shortlists currently records material update context on affected routes where available. A fuller public changelog may be expanded as the site moves from early buying-guide coverage to a mature buying-guide publication.
