Reader request

Request a guide or update

Tell us what guide is missing, what looks stale, or what should be corrected.

Context: Editorial contact

Requests do not automatically change rankings, product selections, merchant links, or recommendations. They help identify useful corrections, refreshes, and future route ideas.

How to reach us

Email: editorial@ukshortlists.co.uk

Please include the affected page URL and a short issue summary. If the issue relates to a product, include the product name and the field or claim that appears wrong.

What to send

  • For corrections: the page URL, the sentence or product detail that looks wrong, and the corrected source if available.
  • For product data issues: the merchant or manufacturer page showing the updated specification, price band, warranty, or policy detail.
  • For broken links: the page URL and which button or merchant link failed.
  • For affiliate or disclosure concerns: the page URL and where the disclosure is unclear or missing.
  • For advertising or launch feedback: the advert, post, or source that sent you here, the landing page URL, and whether the page answered the buying problem you expected.
  • For route feedback: explain the buyer problem the page did not solve, rather than just saying a product should rank higher.

How we triage messages

We prioritise issues that could materially affect reader decisions: factual errors, unsupported testing claims, misleading affiliate context, broken merchant destinations, stale product data, advertising claims that overpromise, and route guidance that no longer matches the evidence.

A message does not automatically trigger a ranking change. Ranking changes need evidence that the existing order is weaker for the stated buyer problem.
