Trust & transparency

Editorial accountability

UK Shortlists uses organisational attribution for its documented editorial process. Named experts or contributors appear only when their identity, relevant experience, contribution scope, review date, and conflicts are recorded.

Accountable publisher

UK Shortlists Editorial Team

UK Shortlists uses documented sources, category criteria, buyer-fit checks, automated quality controls, and accountable publication decisions to produce focused UK buying shortlists.

What the process covers

  • Compiles recommendations against the declared route intent and category criteria.
  • Checks source support, claim boundaries, disclosure, and merchant-link handling.
  • Records substantive updates and corrects material factual errors.

Verified contributors

A named contributor profile will be published only after UK Shortlists records identity verification, relevant experience, the exact pages or criteria reviewed, the review date, and any material conflict. Until then, pages retain organisational attribution and do not claim named expert review.

See the Expert Review Framework and Review Basis for the public evidence model.
