Measure the cabinet before choosing the television
The diagonal is 43 inches in every case, but the supplied feet are not interchangeable. Start with the cabinet’s usable top surface, load rating and position. Then check the television’s full width and assembled depth, leaving the ventilation and cable space required by its instructions.
The table uses millimetres; on a narrow screen, scroll it sideways to compare every column. Overall size is width x height x depth, with the supplied stand fitted. Stand width or feet span is not a safe minimum cabinet width: the whole setup must meet the manufacturer’s support instructions.

Samsung and LG publish their stand footprints directly. Xiaomi calls its figures base width and base thickness; its assembled depth is separately listed as 211 mm. The TCL assembled dimensions agree across Currys and Argos, while its 716 mm stand width is an Argos specification.
Xiaomi specifically requires a horizontal support surface wider than the television and able to carry its weight. Its 846 mm feet span is therefore not permission to use an 846 mm-wide cabinet. For every model, furniture support, loading, ventilation and cable-clearance instructions override this comparison.
Which fit should lead your decision?
Start with Samsung when stand footprint is the difficult constraint. Its documented feet occupy less horizontal space than the Xiaomi and LG stands, although the television itself is still 957.8 mm wide. This is why Samsung remains the primary recommendation; it is not a picture-quality winner for every room.
Compare TCL when Google TV is the preference. Its 185 mm assembled depth is useful to check against a shallow unit. Do not substitute that overall depth for a separately verified foot measurement. Compare the exact current offer with Samsung rather than assuming this is the cheapest choice.
Compare Xiaomi when Fire TV is the deliberate choice. Allow for the 957 mm television width and the manufacturer’s wider-support-surface instruction. Fire TV preference alone does not establish better picture quality or value; compare the apps you use and the exact current offer.
Compare LG when its platform and soundbar connection suit your setup. The 892 mm stand width is a material furniture constraint. HDMI 2 is the documented eARC connection, so include the soundbar before deciding whether the remaining inputs cover your other equipment.
Count the sockets you will actually use
Write down the soundbar, console, set-top box and any separate streaming device. An eARC soundbar uses an HDMI connection, leaving two of these televisions’ three inputs for other HDMI sources unless your equipment provides a separately verified alternative connection.
HDMI version labels alone do not establish a high-refresh gaming mode. Samsung lists 4K 60 Hz on its three inputs; Xiaomi lists a 60 Hz panel. Check the precise resolution, refresh rate and audio-return port needed by your devices rather than assuming every socket does everything.
Wall mounting needs a separate decision
Samsung and LG publish 200 x 200 mm mounting patterns. The TCL UK retailer specifications state 200 x 100 mm. A pattern alone does not establish suitable wall construction, bracket loading or installation compatibility.
Xiaomi’s documentation conflicts: its UK specification and the mechanical section of its exact-model FAQ state a 100 x 200 mm wall-mount pattern, but the FAQ’s packing section says it does not support VESA. Neither a definite compatibility claim nor a definite no-mount claim is justified here. Confirm the exact model’s mounting instructions with Xiaomi before choosing it for a wall-mounted setup.
