The appliance has to fit the home, not the advert
Laundry appliances are easy to buy by capacity alone. In flats and homes without outdoor drying, the harder question is where moisture, heat, lint, noise and delivery access go.
Check the drying workflow
Washer-dryers, tumble dryers, heated airers and dehumidifiers all solve different parts of the problem. Think about load size, drying time, noise and where damp air goes.
Check utility space and door swing
Measure the appliance gap, pipe position, plug access, door swing and route through the building. Delivery failure is a real cost even when the product is right.
Check maintenance tolerance
Filters, water tanks, condenser cleaning and vent paths decide whether the appliance stays useful. If the maintenance is annoying, it may not fit the household.
