Quick update
UK Shortlists has upgraded Amazon Seller Check so you no longer need to start with a perfect Amazon product link.
You can now type what you want in plain English, such as “quiet kettle for open-plan kitchen” or “portable monitor for MacBook travel”, and the tool will create Amazon.co.uk search routes with the usual UK Shortlists checkout prompts.
The point is simple: open Amazon with a better question, then slow down at the exact moment where seller, delivery, returns, warranty and listing details can change the decision.
What changed
Amazon Seller Check now supports three useful starting points:
- A UK Amazon product page.
- A supported Amazon app share link that resolves to Amazon.co.uk.
- A plain shopping request typed into the tool.
For plain requests, UK Shortlists creates Amazon.co.uk search routes and adds prompts around the risk you care about most. If returns matter, the tool nudges you toward warranty and returns wording. If delivery timing matters, it reminds you to check final dispatch and seller wording on Amazon before relying on timing.
What it does not claim
This is not a live Amazon price comparison service. It does not scrape Amazon, copy reviews, publish seller ratings, show live prices, rank live sellers or guarantee that a listing is safe.
It is a buyer-control tool. UK Shortlists may earn from qualifying Amazon purchases, but the final checks still happen on Amazon before checkout.
Best use
Use it when you are about to buy from Amazon but the listing has enough detail to get wrong: model numbers, plugs, compatibility, renewed or refurbished condition, delivery wording, third-party seller names, returns, warranty or bundled accessories.
Open Amazon Seller Check, type what you want or paste the Amazon link, then use the route that best matches the thing you need to verify.
A useful rule
If the purchase would be annoying to return, expensive to replace, awkward to fit, or risky if the wrong variant arrives, do the check before checkout.
