Quick answer

What matters first

No product page can establish that a flight is allowed at a particular place and time. Check airspace, people, the operating route, take-off permission and local restrictions for each plan.

Start with the intended place

Write down the real use cases: a back garden, a park, the coast, a city trip or open countryside. A heavier or more restricted aircraft can be a poor buy if those places rarely support its operating route.

Check three different permissions

Airspace restrictions, the aircraft operating conditions and the rules for taking off from land are separate checks. Passing one does not answer the others.

  • Current airspace and temporary restrictions
  • People and area separation
  • Landowner, byelaw or site conditions

Recheck on the day

Restrictions and local conditions can change. Use current official services and do not treat a saved screenshot as continuing permission.
