Sources we use

  • provider policy, pricing, legal, support and feature pages where they clarify product identity and terms
  • public audit, transparency or warrant-canary material only where it is current and tied to the provider being discussed
  • provider and retailer pages for current plan details, pricing and purchase terms
  • our published shortlist notes, including the criteria and caveats used for each recommendation

What we still need to confirm

  • more source-level records for renewal pricing, refund terms, jurisdiction, audit recency and plan limits
  • clearer independent evidence before making stronger privacy, streaming, speed, jurisdiction or device-compatibility claims
  • additional review where buying guidance could be confused with legal, cybersecurity, anonymity, workplace or compliance advice

  • live price, deal, refund, availability, rating, review-count, merchant or plan-term claims
  • advice for illegal access, piracy, workplace compliance, censorship evasion, legal disputes or high-risk security contexts
